If that would have happened to me I have no idea what I would have done lol. I honestly would have probably got out and started yelling at everyone. Especially after doing ball joints, that stuffs not fun.

Keeping my own money in the bank is a helluva lot cheaper than paying someone else to keep his money in the bank, so I do that rather than carry comprehensive and collision insurance. It'd cost me just over $700/year to add full coverage, hardly worth the price as with a $500 deductible I'd have to exceed $1300/year in covered damage just to break even.

That said, if I were (still) married to a woman with a terrible allergy to saved money, I'd consider the premiums for full coverage a necessary bimbo tax and just pay it.

Before you know it we'll have a "how much are you paying for insurance" thread going

Edit: I'm willing to assume that there are probably more 2nd Gen's in this forum that are paid for then compared to 3rd and 4th Gen's, so I'd hate to see their rates, since more then likely they have to have full coverage for vehicles they're still paying for

It's been a little risky here in the Fitz, the other day pulling into the Wal-Mart lot I almost got sideswiped by some idiot in a new Dodge Cummin's who didn't wanna yield at a light.
