Hey Ladies,

I'm trying to find another hole to access thru the firewall. I looked from inside and can't use the one that the hood cable goes through (rear aux light and amp lines). So I found a hole with rubber grommet about 1" diameter to the right.

Here is a picture from the engine bay side. It the diamond shaped rubber on the left. Is this readily available?

If so, just pierce hole so that the rubber grabs around wires?




Purpose is to run some wires into a switch. Later, an additional small diameter air line for pressure gauge. I presume this would be the access for other accessories like POD gauges?

Yeah, that should work. I think that is the spot where the clutch stuff would go, if you had a manual trans.

Ignition Wire color is Dark Blue

I can't determine if there is a wire for "Dash Illumination". Would that correspond to Accessory Wire?

I heart electrical, hence I made it last...just as the sunlight went out. TBC tomorrow.

 

I heated up a screw driver and just made a little hole in my firewall and have ran power wire for my subs and it seems to work just fine.
