Question: Is that front tow hitch store bought or home made, I need one.
If store bought, do you remember the maker ?

What type of electrical connector do you use for the winch? I have been thinking of doing something like that for my Yota.
Below is a picture of the plug I used , same as an electric forklift . I also spliced one onto a set of booster cables so when I need to boost someone I don't even have to open my hood .



Question: Is that front tow hitch store bought or home made, I need one.
If store bought, do you remember the maker ?
It is a Warn Hitch , and it bolts to the outside of the frame , 3 bolts on each side 2 on each side are also bolts for the front bumper .

Thanks pacman. I did that with same connectors about 20 years ago and worked well. Just gotta find some. Don't have same access to those matials any more. May try Grainger.com.

Thanks, that does help. All I gtta do now if figure the exchange rate thing....don't have any Canadian dollars, and only a few more US dollars.....

Although the bumper is large , it is no heavier than the stock bumper and would crumple similar to the stock bumper in an accident . I don't want to bend the frame if it can be prevented in an accident . Hope this clears things up .
Gotcha. That makes a lot more sense now, knowing it is not a 1/4" plate heavy duty piece like I expected.
