It doesn't get much cheaper where I live, I might be able to save $20 bucks a month with an off brand insurance company but, I'll spend the 20 to not have to worry when I do get in a wreck

dont currently have insurance(not legally required in NH) but with ym record(3 speeding, and one driving while suspended(long story), and no at faults) basic liability would be around 200 a month, and full coverage would be 500~ a month with a 100 dollar deductible. oh and im 22. guess thats what happens when you have a slightly modified Honda Prelude(oh do i miss that car!)

NH is the only state in the ENTIRE country that doesnt require insurance, and DOESNT have a click it or ticket law. anyone over the ages of 18 does not have to wear a seatbelt if they dont want to. i havent worn a seatbelt since i was 16....

drivers under 18 get wicked penalties though.

1st ticket 20 days suspended
2nd ticket 45 days
3rd 90 days

lets just say i lost my license for 225 days in 2009...... that was one LONG year!

Sounds great till you hit or plow into someone and have to pay for all the damage's.

Or do they do things differently in New Hampshire all together?

if you cause an accident you will be required to pay or it whether insured or not. if you cause an accident you will be immidiately required to get insurance, usually requiring an sr-22 and if you dont pay for the damages or get insurance you can kiss your driving privilages good-bye....

Sounds to me like you'd be better off just to have it OR have a really deep bank account

Yes, being careful is the best thing to do insurance or no insurance. But whether or not it's yielded an accident I'm sure at some point in the snow and ice it can be interesting....
