Ram Body work
So I experimented on the scrap hood that I have. Here is what I have (Blue metallic). The inside edge will be 13" from center of Ram with 1/2" stripe, then 1/2" skip, the a 4" stripe. Or should I flip it to pput the thin strip on the outside like the Mopar 11?

Now I just have to know if enamel paint will work with polyurethane clear......Kejobe thinsk it will not work, so I will probably wait until next week to get the proper paint. I do not want any "Oh Sheet!" moment here!

I'll probably flip the stripes and put chrome grille on and see how it looks. May go ahead and order black grill after first of month (payday thing) and swap back and forth and see what looks best.
But I am going to wait on getting urethane paint. PMs with Kejobe makes me want to wait. Too much time and money for screw up now.

Probably. Only reason I don't scuff and paint this grill is in the event I don't like it black!
Also, on the test, the clear went on with no orange peel. Very smooth. Why can't it do that on the truck? That figgers'!

So took off work at noon today (I have to drive 4 hours tonight for a meeitng tomorrow, VW) and painted the stripe.

When I get back Friday evening I will sand the tailgate and then mask to reclear the hood, roof, and tailgate to make sure the celar is even with no ridge at stripe. Then comes that fun sanding and buffing again........

As much as I like it, I'd say you need to make it match by doing one on the other side.
It would look even better, I'm not saying this doesn't because it looks great, but I guess I always liked the dual look. Be like if I only had one rumble bee stripe on my truck, idk. I like the choice in color, very nice. Great job masking it out and painting.
I am sorry if this has been covered already, but I noticed that you have new taillights. Did you paint them to match the truck? If not.... do it. I bought some taillights and they were black, looked fine. 6 months later, its faded and looks like crap. So if you haven't I highly recommend doing so.
