I normally would agree with you, but on this one my opinion would be to leave as-is.

This thread is located in the correct section since it's not a tech problem. I give it kudos too for being labeled with a topic title that makes friggin sense!!!!

The "help me" threads should all be merged together.

If you merge these ones, then the first one in the Tech section will be appended too; wrong location and tone went ****ty.

That'd be my input to your great observation....b/c I was like...wait wasn't there a similar topic not too long ago? lol

 

Thats was what I was thinking cuz I remembered posting in it. At least I thought I did when I clicked the link. Until I didn't see any post from me.

Then I started to wonder if there had been some kind of supernatural, space continual, alienistic, computer controlled, mind bending, freaky but not freakish occurance that I somehow mispredicted the future (or was it past) cuz all the posts were different as well.

So, back in reality, I searched the tech section. Low and behold, I was correct all along. FOUND IT!!

And now I present this question, Why can't the one in tech be merged into this one in gen dis? Or am really in some sort of time warp where it is not possible?

Keep in mind, merging them retains chronological order of posts.... so, probably, the entire other thread would end up BEFORE the original post in this thread.

 

It's up to you on whether or not they get merged. I was just thinking it may "clean" things up a bit. But it sounds like it may confuse things in the thread more than help. Both links were in post 11 here. But I'll post them...again.

There would be a real mix of posts..... I think that would be just a tad confusing... having the links collected here I think will work out better.... not like we don't ever get duplicate threads.

 

I would concede (after kejobe's creative time warp words) to merge the threads. Then MOVE the one from Tech to here as that one was First. Both have the same title.

Let the "discussion" items mix.

That would be my vote.
