Default Insanity is insane!

At one point in my life, which was 1 1/2 years ago, I was fit! I could run miles, weighed 185 lbs, worked out every night, could bench 315 lbs, and ate healthy....er. Now, a year and half of marriage and two children, im at 215 lbs, 6' tall, and eat everything unhealthy I can get my hands on. Well, im finally sick of my pathetic self lol, so me and my wife decided to try Insanity. Just to give you an idea as to how out of shape I am, I just did the Fit Test last night and I could barely move this morning lol. So today is day two of my two month workout, and all I can say is it's insane!

And dont get married because you'll gain 20 lbs faster than you think lol

OK. 1 1/2 years of marriage and 2 kids......you need to change your workout! Don't worry - when the kids get a little oldewr, you will get all the exercise you can stand just keeping up with them.......IF you can keep up with them!

You have to start now just to catch them later. They can be pretty quick. Get away fast and keep goin.

I suggest you start runnin after them now.

It hits you quick. I got divorced a few years ago and was at about 235 lbs. A little depression and then I sold my business to take care of my mom who had/has some serious health problems and a period of two years I was basically caring for her and inactive I ballooned to 325 lbs., that's 90 lbs. in a period of less than four years!

This past spring I got fed up and since mom is in remission, I made it a mission to find a part-time job that kept me outdoors (golf pro) and started working out and eating right daily. I'm at about 250 right now and took a little break from dieting until after the holidays, but starting Jan 1, I'll be back at it hard again and my goal is to hit 225 (100 lbs. lost) by April 1st which will be a year to the day since I started getting back in shape. I'm 6'3" with a pretty big frame so much under 225 isn't realistic and it's a hell of a lot better than 325...

Geez, we must all be a buncha fatties. I'm 6'4 and 270. My biggest problem is I absolutely HATE working out in front of other people. If I'm with my friends, I'm fine, but with other people who I don't know, and in way better shape than me, I just get really uncomfortable. I would like to be around 225.
