I'm in michigan, but, I paid about 2600 for mine. Needed a LOT of work too... (but, not the trans yet....) I paid too much for it.

 

I agree the price seems a little high. I know market's are different but I paid $2500 for my '01 1500, private seller. And it came with new (like almost right from the wally world tire center new) tires, and a 4k mile old rebuilt transmission. And honestly, since I paid CASH, I think I could have talked him down a little, but I'm a terrible negotiator

And it had just over 120k on the clock.

 

I don't think $3000 is WAY outta line, sold my 96 5.9L 1/2 ton 4x4 last year for $3000 with 176000 on it
