what do u think about 3rd/4th gen wheels on a 2nd

Default what do u think about 3rd/4th gen wheels on a 2nd

so i have a 01 2500 with 35x1250x20 and matte black 20x9 wheels.

i found a guy who wants to trade his stock aluminum 17x8 wheels off his 2007 3500 SRW truck for my 20s.

you think this would look good the tires he has are stock size but i can always buy 285s or 315s later on

his truck


my truck(don't worry that stupid rockstar sticker is off the window now lol )

For what its worth, I am looking to buy some of those same factory aluminum wheels for my 2500. So I think they look good.

I like the 20"s better. If you do trade you should plasti-dip them.

I'm a fan of those stock wheels on 2nd gens, I've seen a few around and think it looks sharp

well i found on some other website mostly the diesel website that the 3rd/4th gen wheel have less off set that what the stock 2nd wheels have and if you run anything over a 285/70/17 there will rub.. and i not done for that.. but i'm lucky cause i found someone with stock aluminum 2nd gen wheels with decent BFG a/ts we gonna trade this week. he lives up in canada bout 15 mins from

I don't like them either on a 2nd gen. Looks too ricer, IMO.
