additive that actually works...

Amazon.com has it and it's actually a little cheaper (before shipping) than I'm getting it for locally.
http://www.amazon.com/Star-brite-Enz...3695925&sr=8-2
It's available in not only multiple size bottles, but multiple concentrations as well, so pay attention to what you're buying/ordering. Some are more economical than others. I've been buying an 8 oz. bottle of the super concentrate (treats 128 gallons of gas) for my vehicles but I buy the not-so-concentrated 8 oz. bottle treats 48 gallons of gas for my yard equipment/etc. as it's just easier to measure the proper amount into 1, 2.5 and 5 gallon cans.
My local Ace Hardware has larger bottles (16 & 32 oz.) as well as the 8 oz., but their prices are on the high side, so there is no advantage to the larger bottles there at least...

If you are having problems finding the Star Bright product Mercury Marine’s Quickare works just as good. I used to sell it and use it in customer’s boats but had completely forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder guys.
http://www.mercurymarine.com/parts-a...l-care-system/
Besides keeping fuel fresh between fill-ups, Quickare helps prevent problems associated with ethanol-blended fuel, such as corrosion, rust, oxidation, gum and varnish build-up and phase separation. Most of today's gasoline can begin to break down and oxidize within weeks, leaving behind deposits that hinder an engine's performance and fuel economy. Mercury's fuel treatment, Quickare, is designed to be used with every fill-up.
Features:
Quickare, Quickleen and Quickstor fuel additives are essential in helping keep your engine running at its peak. By regularly using these fuel care products, your engine may start easier, idle smoother and hit the hole shot quicker. Other benefits include extended spark plug life and less stalling from cold engine starts. All three of Mercury's fuel care products can be used in any 2-cycle or 4-cycle gasoline engine with any octane grade, including ethanol-blended. They are also safe for catalyzed engines.

Sharing an opinion is fine, but typing up a line or two, without any experience with it, and simply to combat something someone is saying for your own amusement is crap.. if you've used it and haven't seen any benefit, that's one thing- but what you've contributed is almost an affront, and is bringing my integrity into question..
in that vane, I suggest you go eff yourself....

I can't tell you that I particularly care if you're dubious of it or not... I wrote it up, and only after using it for four complete tanks, and simply for the benefit of people here.. If I thought it was crap, I wouldn't have opened my jawls, that is, unless someone else came along and did what I just did, and I could counter it with my personal experience.

Then again, I'm equally impressed BUT -- If I could "eff myself", do you really think I would be here?

it's simple... Man would NEVER have evolved past the 'phase' of self oral gratification.. it just ain't a possibility.. no matter how this ranks other posters, deep inside their hearts and in that place where they shove things they wouldn't share with anyone, they know this to be true.. they know that if Darwin's reckonings held merit, they would be in a tight little ball, laying in some dug out or cave, doing what they could do, for at least 40% of the day, with another 40% for relaxing/sleeping, and 20% in search of beer...
darwin? BLAH.. no way...

this hints to one of the most fundamental truths ever discovered during my elementary school years.. when the science teacher suggested we 'evolved' in the Darwin sense, I quickly thought of our family pet.. and loudly and abruptly disrupted the class..

So... you figured at some age less than 12 that if you could lick yourself you'd do nothing else for the rest of your life? I'm glad we don't share a cubicle!
