additive that actually works...

Now, now boys! I don't mind an open debate on whether you think the product works as advertised or not, but keep it respectful. Although I don't put ANY stock in someone's speculation who hasn't tried the product, be it positive or negative.
In my case, I've been using it in my yard equipement, generator's, etc. for about a year and a half, on the recommendation of a friend with a lawn care/landscaping business. I was replacing primer bulbs and fuel lines and fighting gummed up carbs to the point of over-hauling everything about once a season. I have yet to have a primer bulb or fuel line eaten out since and have had NO starting or running issues since. I don't know why I waited till the past September to add it to my vehicles, but decided to try after seeing my fuel economy (and idle) degrade since the last, close-by gas station stopped selling ethanol-free gas.
I have seen MPG and performance return to about the levels they were at when using ethanol-free gas. I'm convinced of the benefits the product offers. Whether you decide to try it and whether you're convinced of it or not is entirely up to you. But like Drew, I think it bears mentioning so that you may decide to try the product...

2,600 rpm with 35" tires and 4.56 gears?? I have the same setup and 2100 rpm = 75mph so you really had to be flying... 35" tires and 4.56 gears shouldnt "suck" anymore than stock on the highway since it delivers the same final drive ratio and load on the engine minus the extra weight of the tire... 3.55 gears with stock tires are on the sluggish side as far as power to get better mpg at highway speeds.
I get about 13-14 mpg at 70-75mph with my setup.
I will give this stuff a shot and see if helps.

you don't have to answer.. I know, and I know that you know, and you know that I know you know..

In traffic like that, the problem is more the fluctuations than the overall speed.. seems I'm always punching it hard, running near three digits for a second or two, and then hitting the fat pedal pretty hard.. and all over again.. it's very hard on mileage, I don't care what you're driving.. It's also one of the reasons I stay the hell away from places like that unless I HAVE to go..

it does seem contradictory..
I've always had a p/u.. i'd rather suffer the comfort thing to have the function if i needed it.. when i could afford it, i also always had a 'transport' ride too..
i had a gf back in the day who was in an accident and folded her little car like a piece of paper... the truck she hit (in front of her) sustained minor damage, and the family was fine.. the truck behind her that nailed her sustained little damage, and the dude who was driving that rig jumped out and helped keep her alive..
i looked at that accident scene, and saw in my mind how it unfolded- and determined that driving a truck would always be my thing... call it insurance..
so, my insurance is expensive on gas.. my insurance for wrecks and such isn't too bad, but it still is worth shopping for the best price, right? I'm going to run that truck plain and simple- it is not only functional, but part of my insurance.. while driving that insurance policy, I'm going to try to get the best mileage..
of course, for reasons I don't want to reason with, riding my second vehicle (a motorcycle) is alright..
mental gymnastics.. love it or leave it..

I don't have any need of a longer neck, and particularly not for that purpose. I've got a sweet wife who keeps Young William quite happy, thankyaverramuch.

But then we would have to put on a glue on hood scoop that increase drag, and Roof scoop, Lambo Doors, so we look fly, and a Huge *** Wing no shorter than 2 feet tall, and some rims, preferably spinners that are at least 24's, cuz u know anything else, and you're just a balla...
By then, we'd be back in the same boat, bitchin about mileage.

never thought to put this in my truck, then again I run seafoam everyonce in awhile.
Use this in the boat and it makes one hell of a difference, letting gas sit in a boat is no good for any amount of time. Noticed difference in the fuel filters and if you ever priced a set for a 150 HPDI you understand why its used at every fill up.
