Giving my ram a little lift
i ordered helper springs as well they just havent gotten here yet, and im glad i did, because to me it looks like the front it just a little higher now, but def looks a lot better.
Since yours is 2wd, i dont know how level your truck would sit, and i dont think HBS offers leveling kits for the 2wd, but id probably not go with a 2.5 cuz your truck is gonna be sitting nose high.
Okay, well if yours was 4wd id say dont order from rough country, i got a hell bent steel one(hellbentsteel.com) 2" was $65, and 2.5" was $80, free shipping, and they are made out of steel, not some plastic like some ive seen,

So I guess I'll be a guinea pig. Probably will get one from hell bent steel though, their stuff is cheaper.
You could try a set of 2wd 2500 diesel springs rockauto has them. I am not sure what they would do for lift number wise. See if you can find the specs on both sets of springs and cross reference them. Inside dia is what matters to make sure they fit in the spring cups/seats.
This is the first 4 springs for '01 2500 Diesel

There isn't any similar information for the '01 1500 gas springs except either constant or variable.
I emailed support at hellbentsteel asked them about 2wd springs.
The 4x4's are solid front axle right? And the 2wd's are independent front suspension, but how much difference in the coil spring housing can there be?

Rough Country does make a 2'" level for the 2wds cause ive installed a set on a truck before. The back was just a tad lower than the front. He had a 2wd with a 3" body and a 2" level on 35's.
I'll be sure to check it out again...
