Am I the only one that is impressed that they found it so quickly? Glan your bud got his truck back. Around here they are usually torched.

There is a service manual download in the FAQ/DIY section. It will help greatly on the steering column issue. Be cautious of the clock spring!

Around here if they steal an older truck like ours it's usually to steal a boat/trailer and then dump it or a joyride hope they use it to steal a boat less damage that way

 

I got a $200 installed alarm that won't allow it to start if the alarm is on, that'll at least stop them from taking the whole thing
