Default Truck Stolen

My bud's white 2001 1/2 ton Ram sport 4x4 was stole last night from Yorkdale shopping center in Toronto.
This poor guy worked and saved large to buy this truck, cash.
He had a chance to go see his first pro hockey game and do some xmas shopping for his wife and kids.

WTF is wrong with people.
Stolen from inside the truck was basically everything he ...too much.He cannot work without his truck either.

This world is really frigged up.
Is nothing sacred anymore!

That really sucks man.. I'll be on the lookout for a ram with Canadian plates.. If I see one actually following the speed limit I'll know its the one for sure... (sorry, seriously though it will likely turn up with the stuff stolen out of it and maybe minus the stereo if it was aftermarket... 2001 rams are not exactly chop shop material these days...hopefully its not set afire by kids)

Maybe there are cameras at the shopping center? Would be nice to nail the SOB so he/they can spend Christmas in jail.

When I had my jeep broken into I was surprised at how uncooperative the police were... they acted as if it were my fault because I had a soft top and basically told me since it was under 2,000 damage and theft I'm on my own...
so If your a thief and only steal around a $1,000 worth of stuff they dont bother doing anything...I had an Idea who broke into mine and they wouldn't dust for prints or anything...
If they find the truck a few miles away in one piece I wouldn't count on them doing anything about it...They always have "more important things to do"
Now if he was selling bootleg dvd's or stealing satellite tv...That has a higher manditory sentence in States like California than robing a bank and raping the Teller while doing it... got to love lobbiests controling the laws for big business.

I hope they do find it.Even if it is empty of everything he had inside.
He had no theft insurance on it.It is not usually neccesary up here.
He was just visiting Toronto.
Up here ( near 500 miles North of the city)nothing usually gets ripped off because we all know what everyone has.It makes it easy to find the stupids.

I had my wallet stolen a couple years ago only to get a call 8 months later from the state police stating they found it completely in tact (no money) like 3 hrs away... hopefully he will get lucky like I did.

The truck was found yesterday. It was driven to Peterborough and sold.lol
The police found it and then went after the guy that sold the truck. The police say that they are trying to get a warrant to search the guys place, they believe all the truck contents are in there.Tools, stereo, hopefully his wallet.
Its high hopes but it is Christmas.
The truck has a hole in the door and the door will now not open. The steering column may also need replacing.Right now he has to pull a fuse to shut off and start the truck or something like that.I think the steering column had to be opened up anyway to repair his highbeams(something about a green wire).

I hope this guy that stole and sold the truck actually does time.I am sure few large inmates will be grateful for the Christmas gift he presents to them.
