Default New Lift!!

Hi all,

Its been a really long time since I have been on here and a lot of things have changed and are about to change on my 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4.

(Pics will be added soon)

So far I have done the following:

Tow mirrors
cb radio with 4' firestik
Hella 700ff lights on front bumper
rear u joint replaced
new battery
linex spay-in bedliner
rockford fosgate speakers with 400-4 amp
sony head unit

And for Christmas (not installed yet but hopefully soon) my parents got me a zone offroad 2.5" lift kit
Still waiting on the steering stabilizer and shock boots though

I can't wait to install the lift!!

Looks like blocks and new U bolts. Not sure how tall though. Somewhere between an inch or 2.

Thats correct it's 2" blocks

Unfortunately I have hit a snag in the install process on the rear.
The upper shock mount on the passenger side is blocked on one side by the body/frame (cant remember) and a custom made exhaust hanger on the other side.
The only way I see to remove the nut and bolt is to drop the exhaust down by removing this hanger temporarily which has already proved to be a pain in the a** because it is bolted to the frame with three bolts: one i could reach easily, the second one I couldn't reach easily and ended up breaking off the head, and the third i gave up on till tomorrow because I lost daylight and it got really cold.

So my truck currently sits in the driveway on jack stands until tomorrow..great
