Ok some clarification. I did fix the original miss on number 8 with the work I did. After hooking. A new scanner I bought today up to it, I found a number 2 misfire, changed the plug and voila, problem fixed. Now all I need to do is fix the exhaust and its good as new.

Well guys, looks like my time to fight with the stupid plenum is fast approaching. Last night I took my throttle body off to replace it with a 50 mm one from 99blkdakrt off of ebay (which looks great by the way) and i took some pics of the plenum...at first it didn't look bad, but I'm assuming that a pool of oil in the back isn't really supposed to be there...

time for an M1 or airgap....if only i could make up my mind as to which i wanted...

M1 is more of a drop in than the AirGap is as the AirGap is an adapted carb manifold and has some weird stuff going on with it.

well the good news is I don't have any symptoms of the blown plenum (yet) so I still have time to decide. The fact that the airgap requires a little more work doesn't scare me, i just want to get the best intake available on the market

The plus side to the AirGap is that it's still being made. The M1 is out of production IIRC so they will become scarce in the near future.

could a bad pcv cause that much oil to pool in the intake? i feel like there was an awful lot there to be just the pcv...although i was planning on replacing that asap as well
