Thanks! I guess the only hesitancy I have is if I break a bolt, that has always scared the **** out of me. I can adjust the bands on a tranny, replace water pumps, alternators, caps/rotors/wires, radiators, and all sorts of things on my trucks. I replaced cams and shims, jets, airbox mod, and gears on my motocycle. But taking the keg off to do this has me worried. What could I do if I break off a bolt in the block?

I broke two on mine when I did it. I just dug the crap out around the base, hit 'em with chemicals, clamped some vice-grips to the bolt, tapped it with a hammer while working it back and forth, and they both came out easy.

Replaced 2 days ago (1-2-16) with Hughes Kit. Truck had 194,000 and the gasket wasn't blown.

I had to move everything away from the wall and still the truck only cleared the garage door by about 3 inches

I did distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs and plug wires while I was in there

I don't have a picture of the old one but it wasn't blown out or broken anywhere.

When I did mine it didnt look blown either. But it had some oil in it. So I put in a catch can. You would be surprised just how much oil the pcv lets in.

Any of you have pictures of your catch cans? Mind posting them if you do?

https://dodgeforum.com/g/picture/4333970 Here is water separater that I picked up at Home Depot. Put inside some copper scrubby for more surface area. The drain wont work as it is cuz it seals off of pressure not vacuum. Youll need to plug it. Sorry its a link to my picture and not the picture itself but I suck at this tech stuff. If I cant hammer it, saw it, wrench it, or weld it then its tech to me...

Oddly enough, we haven't been seeing a lot of folks doing plenums of late.... Wonder why....

I could sticky this one, if enough folks think it worthwhile?
