My dad just called me. He lives in southern Oklahoma near a small toen, Thackerville. A couple of my project cars are in his barn. The Winstar casino has been trying to buy his 10 acrea property for a long time, and this weekend they met his price! He sold it for enough to pay it off AND pay for his new place outside Marietta.

So how is this going to get me into trouble? I have to schedule a couple trips with my car trailer to pick up my cars and bring them home before he has to move....and the 52 Chevy 5 window truck that my nephew wants to sell me - - - is in Thackerville. No way can I drive there (about 200 miles) and NOT look at (and most likely buy) that truck!

Gotta figure a way to break this to the wife. Can't just do the drive by thing like I did on the 54!

Wish I had a trailer like Hans has....but then I would need a bigger truck to pull it......

 

Rent something...... make one trip, instead of three. In the end, it will be cheaper.

 

No place around this little town or there to rent something like that. May have to look in Dallas/Ft Worth area. Wonder who would have soemething like that?

May look at trailering them to my son's house. He just bought a new home with sevaral acres and a nice shop. Could park them there then haul them one at a time as I got time - give me another excuse to go see grandkids!
