I'm wondering if Dodge ever offered an "Extended Idle" switch for the second gen Ram. If so, what the PN is and if it requires a modified dash bezel.

I could use a high idle switch and would like to use a factory one if there ever was such a thing. I know the police package Jeep Cherokee had one available and it looked pretty sweet. I figure if anyone was using a Ram for a wrecker it would be an option on the truck.

 

Ive seen people install a hand throttle for keeping the rpms at a certain level, so they could use a winch, welder, compressor or just jumping another car.
