Default **** just hit the fan with my rearend and drivehaft

so driving down the road i hear some noise before i could even stop and check anything pop drag drag drag my drive shaft comes out of the rear end and had to get a tow truck would roll in going reverse but tires locked going forward. so idk wut happened. question is can i swap out the rear end for something better cause dodge lsd sucks as ive come to notice with all the work this damn thing kept needing. ive heard the ford rear ends are good wut can i do here? i know if i got a ford rear end id have to get it redone to be able to do the dodge bolt pattern or should i just get a used rear end out of a junkyard and weld the spider gears so i have posi and do away with the maybe issue i had with some kind of c-clips or should i just rebuild my rear end and see if there is a c-clip eliminator kit or somethign in those lines?

If I were in your shoes, I would look at just replacing the rear with another 9.25. I see those on craigslist pretty cheap all the time. If you wanted to, you can swap in a ford 9 inch, they have the same 5 on 5.5 lug pattern, and you get rid of C-clip axles. But it's gonna cost way more in the long run.

Other manufacturers rear also may not have the rear wheel speed sensor......

Pull yours apart, and see what failed.

I agree take it apart and see whats going on.

I wonder if an old dodge 9 3/4 also called a dana 60 from an old charger or the like would fit.
