I just got done spending all my money on THIS one!!!

Also I think I'd rather have the v8 to be honest. Cheap parts, Dana 60 rear, lighter weight truck = higher legal payload/towing capacity

Also, BEFORE all this fixing, fondling, and massaging I averaged 13-14 mpgs. That ain't happening with a v10...

Well everyone knows a cummins or v10 will EASILY out pull mine, even though they carry the same GVWR in many cases

My order from Summit showed up!

I installed the Melling high volume oil pump tonight, the rest still lies in wait.

Also I found a good (enough) rear bumper in the local JY, so I picked it up and slapped 'er on. It looks SO much better!

Playing in the mud are we?

Looking classy, not like the 80s with that previous bumper.

If you're referring to working on it in the wet/dirt then yes, I was SOAKED with nasty by the time I finished up torquing down the main bearings and oil pump

My Transfer Case parts arrived!

Hopefully I will be on my way to pick up my transmission shortly. I just received a call saying it's finally here.

Either I ordered the wrong range fork or wittrans.com sent me the wrong one. Cuz it doesn't fit. So unless I find one local in stock the truck won't be back together this weekend. And I'm pissed.

Here's the part # AM308840D, It's on this page. My fault or theirs? It says it fits a 241. Maybe they are not all the same. Could be a chevy part I dunno.

The transmission came in though. Here it is.

At least the tranny was right. I fully expected it not to be, since everything has been that way with this thing.
