Default how much to ask for a 1500?

i just bought a cummins and am selling my old ram but am unsure where to start price wise.

its a 2001 quad cab short bed, auburn gear limited slip rear, 4X4, silver with some body damage on the sides, no plastic grill, the transmission has a broken snap ring that has been broken for the past 45K miles. i plan to swap the entire interior of my 1500 with the 2500 so it will be beige, leather, and look very poor imo.
5.2L with 137K miles. i paid 8K for it back in 07
i thought of starting some where around 3K but i wounder if thats to high.

thanks

locally i think the truck would go for about $5000 since it is 4x4 and it is only a 2001. the 2wd trucks are are for sale in the $3000-$4000 range.

I don't know, you can start around 3k and see what happens... aslong as its not in too rough of shape you should have no problem moving it at 3k.... you know what would really help? PICS!!

I buy and sell alot of cars and trucks i would say if it looks nice ask 4500 and let them talk you down so they think they are getting a sweet deal but dont go lower than 3000. I bought my 95 in 2007 for 3500 bucks and it already had a lift 36" tires headers and about 146k miles on it.
