Had a guy come by and offer me more than what I owe on the old girl, and I still sent him packing... Just can't let it go, finally got it the way I want it and couldn't part with it.

Got a quote from a local body shop guy to cut and replace the cab corner panels and rocker panels on both sides. Parts and labor he wanted $1,000. I told him I wanted them cut out, new ones welded in, and filled and primed. He knows I wanted to do roll on bed liner after he is done. He also said he would sand blast them as well, to further prevent rust.

I thought that was a good price for him to do the grunt work. Thoughts?

I would do it myself if it was just minor rust, but it is cancer now and rotting from inside out. Needs to be cut out. I was washing it last week and a spot I pushed on, finger went right through it. Lol

Can you weld? The cab corner pieces cost about $31.00 each. If you can cut out and weld in new part it should save $. And I sprayed Raptor Liner in my bed - Cost about $100.

Hell, bring it down here and I'll weld it in for you. We'll get it fixed up (but you will have to sand)! Want a stripe on it?

Damn it missed that whole thing there at the end, i'll take a stripe but can you move your garage up this way, say like in my driveway!

Well front tires are starting to wear on inside of both, so I have set up an appointment to get an alignment this Saturday. I am praying to the gods above to just be an alignment and not a bunch of bad steering components. They will be giving me a print out BEFORE they try to align it, it's only $69.99 for a 4 wheel alignment.

I will update as soon as I hear from them. If I get bad news, gonna attempt to do it all myself, with the help of my bosses garage/tools. I will be needing help for sure, never worked on the front end, time to pop my cherry boys
