I wish man! Pep boys is gonna do it tomorrow, we changed it out and it still slightly pulls to the right, not as bad as before but I want it straight! $69.99, I'll cough it up.

So easy... If the front of the discs are between one or two 1/32" closer than the rear, your toe is good. Then center the steering wheel. Changing a TRE won't affect your caster. If you are still pulling after that, it is another problem altogether (like ball joints, brakes, or bearings for instance).

Thanks for the info man! You guys just know too much. It's raining here and I don't have a garage, so lets just hope they can straighten it out for me.

My next project is re doing the front brake lines. If i stomp on the brakes she will pull to the right, might be my steering pull too not sure. I read that someone had a similar problem and it was a clogged line to caliper. Gotta wait for this damn hurricane to get out of here.

When you do th brakes take the brake caliper slide bolts out and clean them and grease them well, then put them back in.

I haven't done more than pads and rotors for several years, but the last time I had a vehicle that pulled hard to one side or the other, it was a gunked up piston in a caliper.

Picked up the truck and she drives like a dream! Straight as an arrow!!! My popping feeling I felt in the steering wheel was the outer tie rod end worn badly. It still does pull to the right while braking and I will be checking the lines and calipers on both sides.

I saved about $220 doing the part ourselves, with the help of my buddy of course

Getting it better is steps! That's good. Calipers can be tricky and will stick especially due to water and mud getting in there. Lines can be problematic also....could be either/both.

I think I will start with just new calipers, they are cheap at $20 each. I don't need to do an upgrade on the brakes, don't tow too much and it is mostly a street queen...

Wow it's been a bit for an update. Truck needs inspection in December will need the following:

1. E Brake does not fully engage. The DS rear brake line looks like it is swelled up and blown. Not losing fluid, but might need a new line from the adjuster all the way back to both drums. I was looking on dorman for the lines, not so bad. Any other helpful info would be appreciated.

I also need to check the rear brake drums and shoes...

2. Need 4 new tires. I am keeping this truck at least 2-3 more years so I am just probably going to go with BFG A/T K/Os. I don't really want to buy new tires again, and I read that these BFGs can last up to 50-60,000 miles if properly rotated every 4-5,000 miles. Any other suggestions? Still have not decided if I am going to go with 265's or 285's. I am going to do a leveling kit in the near future...

3. Vacuum leak has popped up. Hisses under WOT and anytime I get on the gas. Power is slightly gone now too. Gonna hit the engine compartment with brake cleaner today and try and find the leak. Seems to me like it is coming from DS half of engine...

Other than that, truck has been running damn good. Drives really nice since my alignment and tie rod end replacement. No more steering popping going on in front end. Don't think I need the rock solid ram steering fix after all.

Oil consumption is almost gone. I lost/burned 3/4 of a quart in 3,500 miles. I might have my valve stem seals replaced after I get my inspection done. Nice to see the sludge is gone from the valley, I used to see chunks of old oil on dipstick and when changing oil, don't see that anymore. I still need to run seafoam through her sometime before it gets too cold...

I'll get some pics of the rear brake line buldge later today.

I'm noticing the same thing, have checked for vacuum leaks but came up empty. Let us know if you find something.
