Pickup box probably just means that it came from the factory with a bed. Vendor painted probably is just referring to the fact that it had paint on it when it left the factory.

Most of the build sheet is just documenting the parts of the build.

So currently looking for a trailer, nothing crazy, just for my side jobs/remodeling business that I am hoping to have up and running this year. We will see about that! Ha!

I want to monitor the trans temp a bit more closely. Did a search for the trans temp sending unit/install. Seems like these are the way to go:

http://dieselmanor.com/dm_products/FTG-MFD.asp

Which one do I need? 3/8''? 1/2''? 5/8''?

How fun are they to install? Says it is rather easy installation...

Any input on the gauge itself? digital read out?

Thanks in advance!

Bit of an update...

Wiped the oil from my apparent rear seal leak down with brake cleaner and it has not returned in 2 weeks. Also my oil issue that I thought I had, well turns out my driveway is a bit more pitched than I thought... Last three times I have checked the dipstick she is right at the line holding good. Have not added any oil since my oil changed 1,000 miles ago. Seems like my buddy was spot on with the sloppy oil change that was done to it.

Truck is running strong right now. I am awaiting my tax return so I can put some money into her.

I want my exhaust more throaty, want to hear the rumble, nothing drastic, but deeper. Keep in mind I live in Pa and they have emission inspections. What are my options?

Also on my list of wants are monitoring the trans temp. Gonna go with that manifold from dieselmanor and a gauge.

Question:

How do I cut the trans line? Do they make a cutter similar to like a copper pipe cutter, like the small hand held ones? Will trans fuild be lost when I cut the line? Good idea to pick some up I take it?

Sort of thinking about a leveling kit but don't even know where to start with that... With me towing and pulling a trailer is this a good idea? Bad? Thoughts?

I'm sure more will come up...

Oh.. still planning on changing the plenum plate this spring. Doing some bartering to get that fixed. My buddy the mechanic needs some work done on his house... perfect!

Levelling: http://www.hellbentsteel.com/

Exhaust: JEGS/Summit Y-pipe, high flow cat, muffler of choice for the sound you like. Pretty simple...
