very nice. sucks that your m&p 15-22 doesn't have the threaded barrel though. can probably get one aftermarket if you ever want to silence it.

Haven't actually read this thread yet, and I don't have time to tonight, but I thought I'd stop in and say that last night I traded a divorced NP205 transfer case for $75 and an old Remington 870 2 3/4" 12 gauge. A little beat up, but it's an 870, so of course it does what it's supposed to.

Ignore my foot...

The remington 870 is one of the most tried and trued shotguns made to date! Also some people perfer the older metal trigger guard 870's because they have already been broken in and have a really smooth pump action.

The 870 is like the Honda civic of shotguns, there is such a hugh aftermarket for them, you can change stocks, barrels, internal parts, you can bolt on parts to the outside receiver...etc

I've got one that started out as a regular $200 police model... Now ive put about another $500 into it!

Also there are a couple gun/rifle forums out there were it is a must that your feet are in the picture lol

Oh yeah I forgot, with the way firearm prices are going up, to me guns are a investment... I cant keep $500 in cash on me because id spend it! But I can keep a $500 gun for a year or two, have fun shooting it and still be able to sell it for about the same price! If not more!

So I say go buy a case of bulk ammo from Walmart for $20 and go have fun shooting it all day!
