Being gas is close to $4 a gallon around here, I don't think is even get $2500 for my truck and it has no quirks and $6k in receipts in the last 2 years!
A lot of them were "forced" upgrades but who cares lol

its totaled so just liability.. idk if itd cover it its fixable though. as for the spool acts like its in 4wd and is nearly impossable to steer.. plus for some reason my new power steering pump or gear box is fried.. ive just had it i cant afford 200 a week in repairs. dunno what i am going to do. i added up all my stuff and i have over 10k in to this truck which obviously im not going to get back.. be lucky to get a grand...
Sorry to read what has happened but who the hell told you it would drive like stock with a spool up front? This is what happens when you take advise from the unexperienced. The ones that never wrench on there trucks but know it all cuz they read it on the internet. "Shouldn't be an issue" isn't experience and just cost you a lot of money.

I had a fire in the engine compartment of my 1996. I needed a new engine wiring harness, injectors, air cleaner, CPS, CKP, vac lines, and everything on the throttle body.

I spent 495 on the wiring harness because I ordered it from a junkyard and they gave me EVERY wire under the hood. Including the headlights and everything else.

You could get her running for about 600 bucks MAX. I spent 1200, but I got a fastman and FMS injectors. Not to mention the darn overkill on the harness. car-part.com could get you one for about 250 bucks.

Or go nuts with it and swap in a 440 and mechanical everything and build it into a trail monster

I can see it now: "I had another fire guys. I burned up both wires."
