Default wrenching ouchy

I know or atleast I think there was a thread about gettin hurt while wrenching but I can't find it. So ill just share it in this thread.

I hate air compressors!! Lol. I am doing work on my friends Husqvarna bike to earn a little side money. Well I turned the air compressor on and went to grab the hose to unwrap it from the side and well the metal blades decided to eat my finger. Took off most of the nail on the middle finger and some meat from underneath it. Needless to say there is no more wrenching on anything for a while. No pictures at the moment cause I was to busy trying to stop the bleeding. I can take some later if needed

I will have to spend the rest of the day sitting in the garage drinking some cold ones and watching the race! Just wanted to share my little story.. Cheers!

I believe that they are the cooling blades on the side of the compressor motor. Whatever they are for I know that they are metal and they are mean! Lol

A little off topic but that rear tire on the bicycle is huge! If I had a tire like that on my bike when I was little, I would have been a KING among my friends! Lol

Oh and sorry about your finger! I've lost alot of skin and blood working on my vehicles over the years!

Yea there is a cover for it but about 2 months ago the compressor was pulled over and it busted the hard line going into the tank. When I pulled it all apart and finally got it fixed the cover had grown legs and walked off to be found absolutely nowhere in the garage
