So im gonna start towing a small boat and need a hitch on my truck. I have a 3 inch body lift and roll pan. I see that street scene sells a roll pan hitch but don't know if it will work with the body lift. Anyone ever try to do this or know someone that has. I know that a regular hitch would work but will hang down and look out of place. The street scene number is 950-60510.

 

I don't think it will be hidden with the body lift..... also, how much does your boat weigh? That one is only rated for 500lbs tongue weight....

If there is a truck shop nearby, go have a chat with 'em.

 

body lift = no hidden hitch. Remember you lifted the body off the frame 3 inches. so your hitch is connected to what.....your frame so even with your roll pan you should be fine to use any hitch made for your truck and shouldnt have clearnce issues. there is a guy here at work with a roll pan on a f150 and 3" body lift with a hitch it looks a little goofy but it works

 

I pull a 25 foot boat that only puts 420 pounds of the tongue, it all depends on the position of the boat on the trailer. The boat weighs 5500 pounds loaded (I know over the towing capacity for a class 3 hitch and possibly the truck)
