Yep balancing beads, not a Canadian thing, not that new a product. Not any more expensive than having/using lead weights, and they can be transferred to a new tire as well as long as its the same size. Almost a one time deal where as you spend lots to have your tires balanced twice a year. Some other big plus is no ugly lead weights on those nice rims, no lead weights to fly off, environmentally friendly. In my op a must for larger tires.

Downside; They can plug open a valve stem when adjusting tire psi (there are special valves but they still plug open just at the wrong time), there is a lag time until the tire is rotating fast enough to make the beads work.

Here is a link to the product I am using.

OP:

I run 285/75/16's up front on my stock 3/4 ton, and I have no rubbing issues. However my wheels have less backspacing (they stick out farther) than the stock ones, that may make a slight difference.

Interesting balancing beads?huh is it pricy to get done? and thanks @x1972 for that info and i wouldn't mind to much if they stick out a bit farther ether. So far too the best price i can get in my area for what I want is around 1200 bucks which i dont think is to bad. I could probably find cheaper out of the area or out of province but the shipping would be retarded lol

Cost to install is $0 (based on that you are getting new tires mounted) all the tire shop does is add the right amount of beads to the tire before doing the last tire bead on the rim. You can add them yourself as well, deflate the tire, remove the valve stem, using a kit they sell add the balancing beads to the tire, install valve stem, and inflate the tire. The cost of the beads I have found vary from shop to shop anywhere from $75-$100 for all four tires for say a 315/75R16 tire. I doubt that Can tire will have them, also if you do use the beads make sure all of the lead weights are removed from the rim's.

K got my tires which where the Firestone destination mt pritty cool looking but I do got a final question for this post, Tire psi level now my tires have a max psi level of 80! they had the back set at 80 and front at 69 i gotta say driving felt a bit bouncy. I dont think they should be that hi so anyone know what a good psi level would be for this tire? for general road use and then a psi for off road use. Would be great to get a reply here guys.

69, and 80 is WAY to high! you should be around 35-40 per tire.

The best way to find the proper on road PSI for your vehicle/tire combo,is to use the chalk test....You can google it with a few key words..I also think a recent issue of Fourwheeler magazine had a article about it...Its simple an cheap(pretty much free) to do..I dont know why more ppl dont do it..Keep in mind sidewalls on most tires can break in after 500-1000 miles..So you may have to do it again..
