DIY - Transfer Case Saver install
Shaft collars don't have the lip the t-case save does, that goes into the groove for the snap ring. T-case saver is still a safer bet here.... and when it comes to my 900+ dollar t-case..... and extra 20 or 30 bucks or so isn't gonna even make me bat an eye.
I don't understand why it won't work on a 3 bolt tailhousing, doesn't look like the 4 bolt has any more room than mine
Because of this I ended up tack welding my snap ring on but didn't use enough heat and lost it again, the second time I turned up the heat and burned it in better and it's been holding for almost a year now.
