Those old Ford locking hubs (the factory ones) suck, we put warns on the lady's '78 f150 and never looked back.

yea they will do better than the fubar unit bearings for now haha

With the spindles and stubs that will be a sweet conversion. I want to do the same with mine someday.

Oh trust me I already know exactly what I need for it, but I'm not to that point with the truck yet... time and money are still being directed towards getting it completely reliable.

wow...had no idea you could just swap out spindles and stubs like that......just changed my direction....was about to order units too......anything special i need to know about this swap for my 99 cummins 2500?

Nope, same axle as any HD 4x4.

Put the feelers out today for a ball joint 60 to molest....had a thought though......i have 4 wheel abs.......granted,i hate abs and am just fine with pulling the fuse.....will this work out for my truck?or cause other issues?.....i dont mind seeing the light
