Default decently fast 2nd gen...

pretty sure you'll be hard pressed to find a faster one..

0-60 in 1.5 seconds...
0-100 in 2.9 seconds..
top speed of 375mph, and it hits it under 10 seconds...

I bet I could outrun it in a distance race of say, 1k miles... just sayin'... well, so long as it doesn't sprout wings, that is..

This feller was running at the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point's Air Show this weekend past... I was pretty impressed with the dude who owns its girlfriend.. she was pretty hott...

funny thing though, there was not a single advert on or around this thing or it's tender.. Meaning: someone is paying out of pocket for this rig.. there is zero chance air shows could fund it- notta.. the dude was maybe 30 years old, and had this- a motor coach, and a double decker hauler.. this can't be a cheap habit.. I'm thinking lotto or rich pappa.. that, or I missed the instructions the oil barons were passing out years ago..

anyway, pretty cool.. thought I'd share..

Simply put a jet engine with 40,000 lbs of thrust, into your 5000 pound (probably less) truck..... and away you go. Better have some DAMN good brakes though.

last jet dragster I saw at the drag strip, I talked to the owner, he said it burns 24 gallons of diesel PER 1/4 mile run! so I would guess 24-100gallons per mile! lol once you're up to speed you can just coast the 3/4 of a mile and most of the fuel is burnt from the afterburner on initial launch. (and showing off for the crowd)

Yeah, it has 2/375 air conditioning, and warnings on the dash to make sure EVERYTHING is securely held down while in motion, otherwise, it will take flight, and be gone.....

You would need about 10000 watts to drown out the engine.......
