your not the only one needing new gas tank straps. from what i have read you have to make your own

Well I might be able to use the ones that are on there cause they dont seem to be in to bad of condition.. Im just not sure on how to secure them... Havent figured that out yet.. The bolt that was in there is really awkward.. Ill just do the redneck fix and use ratchet straps

I have 2 (possibly 3) good straps that I will sell for $900. That's for the set too

I know what you mean, but $1500 isn't much more than you have in it, right? I assume with tax/title/tags and the tuneup stuff you are in over 4 figures...
