Finally got a cummins! nothing special. 1999 SLT laramie 220000 miles. stock, for now...

That thing is slick! NV4500? If so you REALLY have my envy

I agree with gdstock about the chrome needing to go byebye.

very nice!

now do yourself a big favor and replace the stock lift pump with either a raptor, airdog100 or 150 or 165, or fass95 or 150, and get a 0-30psi fuel pressure gauge on there ASAP!

vp44 injection pumps are very sensitive to fuel pressure and must always have 10-20psi at all times (while the engine is running). stock lift pumps are junk and cant even keep up with stock power and end up starving the injection pump for fuel which is its only source of coolant/lubrication, which leads to premature injection pump failure and will cost you at least $900 to replace doing it yourself...

get the lift pump and fp gauge on there, and it will be a very reliable truck.

yes its long bed. yes its auto. got it for 8000 from a dealer. no one likes the chrome??? i kinda like it, and i think itll look better with some 35s im kinda scared to see whats under the chrome trim! lol

yeah i have heard all about the injection pump issues, and im working on that. airdog 150 is what im thinking to start off with

Long bed quad cab is a good thing! I think we agree on the auto though Good luck with the thing, and seriously, lose the chrome
