Wheeling a fullsize
Went out wheeling, fishing and camping with a couple guys for our annual May Long Weekend camping trip. Here's some pics.

Only the TJ could cross the bridge. The JK and I had to go through the creek. Was pretty deep. My buddy in the JK had water coming through his doors.

Here's a video of one of the easier creek crossings.

All 3 of us got our CB radios working for the trip. I love that thing! Makes it so much easier to communicate. Was a fun trip.

Good pics TP! Why is there an orange cap on the end of the gun? Why is there a strap on your truck w/o explanation? Why couldn't the yellow heep make it out?
Why aren't you showing what fish you caught from using the boats?
LOL!! hahahaha just picking on ya. I mean I was worried since you've been running with a pop, bang, ding, transfer case right?

WK can confirm but I don't think you can even get on the Ruby until about June depending on how much snow they have had. If you can't make it til next year that is cool just gives me a reason to come down and run the Ruby again. In Sept I'm going to be solo but if we wait til the middle-end of June my daughter is out school and I'll bring the whole family.
On your creek crossings, why wouldn't the other rigs fit the bridge?
Up here in WA if you drive thru a creek your wallet will be lighter too. They have gotten real stupid up here about this crap. I remember when I was stationed in MD and went to WV for a wheeling trip we had like 6 ford thru creeks. Heck there was a 1/2 mile of road that was under 3' of water.

Mid-summer is do-able next year. We pick our vacations in november for next year. I'll have to pick some time there, we'll have to coordinate between now and the end of the year.

Thornloe,
Our Fish & Game plus Sheriff & Forest Service all have ATV cops. They have Jeeps, quads, dirt bikes, snowmobiles & SXS's that they use to go all the same places we go.
Great pic's BTW but as was said before we need to know why you had to push someone with that strap hooked to the front of you.

Wasn't too bad at first but I was the third to go through that soupy part and they made it worse for me, not to mention I attempted it first in 2wd then switched to 4L. At that point it was too late lol. I was actually kind of disappointed in the yellow rubicon. Didn't go anywhere near as far as I was expecting. He had to be pulled up the side of the bank from the river. I'm assuming his tires and clearance had a lot to do with it. This was like "need a 33" tire for ground clearance" kind of trail. Overall I was very impressed with my truck. 80% of the trip I used 2wd. I tried to use 2wd as much as possible because yes, my tcase is still clunking and banging. Had to bring my truck for the gear though so my tcase had 2 options: Go or Blow. Some places where the yellow jeep would get stuck in 4x4 I made it through in 2wd with some gas pedal. I give most of the credit to my tires (Goodyear Duratracs) and clearance though. Some parts of the trail were tricky like the deep creek and when had to do some rock crawling but overall, very impressed. The guys were teasing me for following 2 rubicons but by the end of the weekend they were not saying anything. When I wasn't hauling gear I was out loading up firewood from the bush. My truck was definitely the hauler rig of the trip. At one point the white JK rubicon made it through a spot with his lockers then turned around and got his winch ready fully expecting me to need assistance. Put her in 4L and she crawled through no problem
Awesome trip with great guys. Had a fun time. I actually don't have any fishing from the boat pics but I got this
Ill ask around and find some more fishing pics.
Got some more pics of the trip

...And the aftermath
I've got a leaking rad hose and my buddy's master cylinder failed.
If anybody is interested one of the guys from the trip made a video showing a little bit of our trip
