are you gong to do a high steer? i cant remember what your axle has (balljoints or kingpins) i am to lazy to look for it lol. that track bar mount is nice. the removable forth link is a great setup the only issue with the 4 link is in extreme articulation is the front d shaft can hit the link if no setup properly. it will be nice to see how it turns out. i built a 73 ford dana 60 with a custom truss and ram mount i also cut the lower part of the pumpkin and mohawked it. i will see if i can find my pics of it

That's not right that your Redhead went kaput already. Did you add a larger cooler like I suggested?

How steep is your drag link angle? I don't remember if you have the TRE on the bottom. I'll go check your thread for pics. Perhaps we compare some triangulation! hehe
No, I did not add a bigger cooler, it has the stock ORE cooler.
I guess I should look at the angle, the Pittman arm is the one that came from BDS for a five inch lift. I added the coil spacer that added another 2" lift but did nothing to the Pittman arm. The two tie rods are the stock ones

No. It's not needed for this vintage. It has "high" steer already. lol Balljoint. You should be able to see what I mean here.

So with your removable upper are you gonna still have the four kink for on road?

I dont see how not having any upper control would work at all.

Thanks for the info about the truss. All I knew was "makes it stronger" but no idea in what way and I had no knowdlege of the other benefits either.

As always, I'm excited to see how this turns out

Sorry if I missed it, but what kinda track bar setup you running?

Yes, that is the purpose of a removable 4th link. Installed for onroad and removed for offroad.

I need to drive my buddies 3linked dakota that I showed a couple weeks back. He only gets it up to like 55 though.

My trackbar is the BDS Diesel one.
