Radio Antenna Replacement
This isn't really too much of a technically challenging topic as it probably more of a cosmetic choice....or not. Hence, I thought to ask what, if any, have replaced their stock radio antenna with?
You just don't really pay attention to your own until the radio gets a crappy signal from what once was a great one....and then notice the bugger is bent.
Those shorter rubber ones just as good or better?
What do you have and where'd you get it? Cost? Picture?
(yeah I searched "radio antenna" and got nothing remotely to this type of topic. probably b/c it's so benign)

I'd love to help answer your question but, being in South Georgia there is NOTHING to listen to if you don't like country or repetitive hip hop. So I'm forced to use cd's and my iPod (kinda happy my truck still has a tape player!)
So I found one and like it so far. Right before putting it on though, I had DC'ed the battery for other work. So I lost all my radio presets and settings. grrrrrr I hate that part!
No complaints so far. Biggest bonus for me is no longer have to worry about it when wheeling as it always catches some branch. I got this off Amazon.

That's a good question and was something I wondered about also. Of the last week now, no whistling broham. I took it up to at least 80.
