what about avg do not track software? i know the last time i upgraded it was added to my web browser and guess i can block any thing that is tracking me

Avderage "do not track" software is only functional to a certain degree. For instance, have you ever wondered how the DOJ catches so many child pornographers? Based on keywords, large number of photo downloads and uploads, and other criteria. (basis courtesy of specific technology training at state and federal level...)

Due to some of the "hush-hush" criteria that we do not know about, thanks to the Patriot Act and the blind allegiance of many corporations, including phone companies as well as ISPs, more data is released about all of us, without the protections of a warrant or due process.......(slowly stepping off of soapbox, placing hands above head, and preparing to get face down on the floor....and asking for a fifth----er, taking the fifth....)

I didn't change a damn thing, and suddenly DF is back to normal speed today. It has nothing to do with any of us.

LOL, no "Conspiracy" or anything like that. There was just something wrong somewhere on the net or with DF. Simple as that. Maybe Bigfoot chewed through a wire somewhere.
