Default oil pressure

Took the 2000 for a "spin" yesterday and while getting on it a bit the oil pressure dropped to 0. I shut her down, re-started and psi was ok for a minute and dropped again. I did this a few times and finally it stayed up.?? could this be a bad sensor?

Thanks!!
JJ

Need to put a mechanical gauge on her to see what you're really getting.

I had the same problem, eventually ended with me changing the oil pump. But of course, try the sensor first and use a mech. gauge before taking the time and spending the money on a new pump.

Check oil level. If that is ok, replace the sensor.
