That is a designed in steering stop. You shouldn't have lost any turn radius...... I wouldn't remove it though.....

Ive lost about 20% of my turning radius and that stop never hit before. Now its clunking against the control arm when i turn or when im turning and hit a bump. Maybe ill just grind a little of it off and grind the control arm a lil.9

I don't see why it would be a problem. You pushed your suspension down, to achieve the lift, which changed the geometry. Things are no longer going to hit where they used to. I would grind a little at a time and check. Although I've never had that issue even with 3" of lift, I guess it could be a possibility.

But I wouldn't grind on the actual control arm. Just the little nub.

I would be careful about cutting that. It is designed to hit there to prevent damage if contact is made elsewhere. Make sure to see waht else may be impacted on a hard turn.

yeah I think I will remove it and if something else is going to make contact then i will add a hard rubber bump stop there. And as far as the lift goes, you gotta remember its a 2500, it already sits higher due to the stiffer springs. So the 2" i added on to that is probably the equivalent of a 3-4" lift on a 1500....right?
