Pictures of new digs in Virginia
I couldn't tell you when the last time this land was hunted for deer. My grandparents raised various animals; cows, goats, chickens, pigs... Used them for food, but he's never deer hunted here that I know of. Gives the deer no reason to fear these grounds!
It's not the least bit uncommon to drive down the road here and see 4 or 5 deer standing around, in fact, shortly before we left I saw 4 bucks in the road.
Biggest problem with deer hunting is my grandfather has been known to keep this place "deer friendly", although he's been changing his tune since they are eating all of the little trees.

I enjoy the getting out in the woods and watching them more than I do the hunting.. dont get me wrong I still enjoy the thrill of trying to bag one but if I dont get one i still consider it a good day.
I need more buddies like you lol. A close friend of mine just moved back home a couple months ago to the harrisburg area. He has a jeep and a sunfire and he bought my lexus and then totalled it haha. In case you wanted to know all that.
