M1 intake ordered

They were the cork ones but my mechanic said he used enough rtv that he wouldn't worry about it

If it were me I would r&r the intake, and install it using the Mopar gasket set, lot's of rtv is not always a good thing. The intake comes with a install sheet and it has a parts list on it that list should be followed.

P4876049 Intake Manifold Gasket Set (5.9L Truck Magnum/Jeep Engines) 33.25

I have a Felpro gasket set here that has the cork end gaskets and I will not use it with the M1 intake.

My fel-pro set had rubber/viton/whatever end gaskets..... Not sure what the difference between sets is.....

In my op the cork end gaskets are to thick and to firm for the M1 to seal right.
