Well saturday im going on a 2.5 hour ride to Bedford, PA to pick up a new ATV. Its a 2011 Kawasaki Brute Force 750.. Ive owned plenty of ATV's but most of them being race quads. Ive ridden alot of the big bore quads but never a Kawasaki.. Everything ive read and seen on youtube these things are an absolute powerhouse.

Does anybody have any experience with these? Oh and here are some pictures to enjoy.. Ill snap more when I pick it up..

Nice looking ATV. No experience with those, but I did have a Yamaha Blaster 2 stroke, that sum' bitch was FAST

 

Yea most of my quads in the past have been race quads. My dad still has a Honda 450 4x4 that we can not kill... I just havent had much time with the Kawasaki big bore ATV's.

Please don't snorkel it like everyone else does. I see so many BF's on CL (LoL!) with huge PVC snorkels on them.

 

Lol no snorkels for me. I only plab on doing new wheels, tires, exhaust and maybe a new ignition setup.. the big utility quads are somewhat new to me. Ive built a Raptor 350 which was stolen and the replacement was a raptor 700r that was probably the fastest ATV ive ever ridden. GPS had me at 91mph... then i sold it to a fella who uhhh... well he was a city boy that pulled into my driveway in a BMW with 24's.... i got the call from the sheriffs office the next day explaining my fourwheeler was in a high speed chase through the city and according to the cops he hit a guardrail doing 80+... he was in ICU for 3 weeks then
hauled off to jail for a series of robberies....

I dunno about the quads, but the newer 4 stroke kawi dirtbikes have some *****!

also honda 4 strokes are incredible motors. Hard to kill. I have a 79 xr250 dirtbike, and it runs like a dream! Honda is one of the best at making small engines.

 

My dad bought a Honda Foreman 450 4x4 brand new in 2001.. That thing has been rolled more than I can count. Sunk and beat to hell and back and will just not die. Most amount of work that had to be done was replacing the front and rear racks, handlebars and the front left axle from a tumble down the street at about 50mph.. Hopefully this Kawi is the same way....

My family never had money for nice new toys so I grew up on '80s bikes and quads, which was totally fine. But I had a friend who had toys and I used to go over and ride his MOM'S (not a typo) 700 raptor. One time I got off it and tried out his YFZ450 ...and left my ***** in the last county back. It made the 700 feel like a complete pig! Man this thread isn't helping my goal of saving a lot of money before I spend more on toys...

 

lol yea those YFZ450's are nasty.. The raptors are kinda turd like unless you do work.. Which is why i sunk lots of money into mine.. My family never had money neither but when my brother was killed we got a bit of money from that and I was able to get something to keep me out of trouble with the law and whatnot..
