Yes, club cabs look good with a long bed and a bit of height under them, and that one is real slick.

Why?
Because they make me want to do things to this truck if I get it.

i got lots of idea's of stuff to do to these older trucks. i think one of the first things you will want to do is to install a power distribution center to take some stress off the old electrical and run a wire from the large terminal on the alternator to the battery. from my understanding the bulkhead connectors on those older trucks liked to melt because the alternator output wire was run through the connector to the amp gauge then back out another connector to the battery.

My dad called the insurance company about it, our insurance would drop $25 a month if I was moved over to the 200 and off my Ram. :S
Weird, right?

True.
And the 76 wouldn't have comprehensive and collision on it either.

I am going hay hauling today and will be stopping by the little car lot where it's located for a test drive.
I called and managed to get the vin number off it yesterday.....it's a J-code truck.
MEANING!!! It has a 440 in it, not a 400.
Unless the 440 was swapped for a 400, which I really doubt since I know how laze East Texans are.

Oooh that's way cooler! I think '78 was the last year of the 440. Won't be the best 440, but still a stump puller. Why haven't I seen pictures yet?

My grandparents had a special order 78 D200 with 4.10 gears, posi, 4 speed and a 440. Dual gas tanks and a gooseneck.
I REALLY wish they still had that truck....

And after we test drove it, it was sold to a bunch of brick layers who will beat the hell out of it and run it into the ground.
But here's pictures anyway of the truck I can't have....

I wish I will drive back by that lot and find it back.
Would be great.
