Default Black out or keep the strip?

I did this when I was drunk so it isnt real good, But I was going to redo it if I keep it and just do the whole truck flat black. (clear coat is peeling off it)

However I think I wanna put it back all black again.

What do yall think?

Here is the only ok pic I got of it for ya to decide.

I was I could pull that dent in my bed my brother made when he was drunk, but there is one at the buttom of the cab also so not going to spend alot of money on fixing it up as far as paint goes.

That's a pretty serious dent. New panel would be best way to approach that. Or lots of spot weld to pull it! Doable, but lots of work.

Psh. Look at the rest of the truck. Not worth it. I vote 3 lb deadblow (from the back side...).

Metal shrinking hammer. A dent that size is going to have stretched the metal, so that you will never get it flat with just a regular body hammer. (or, just a regular hammer for that matter....)

As for the red on the body moldings, I kinda like it.

Don't leave it, I was serious about my suggestion. Yea, you won't be able to get it perfect, but you could get it 100 times better, so that it wouldn't be the first thing you notice about the truck when you look at it.

pfffft ya'll should look at MY truck lmao! i got so many dents and a absolutely horrid peeling green paint job, people take one look at my truck and get the hell out of the way, cuz they apparently get the impression i dont give a crap! (and i kinda dont lol) about 3 months ago, i just put a grill on it. improvement from before when 3 years ago i hit a deer and all it did was break the plastic grill, i didnt have the money to get a new or used one, so i went to tractor supply inc. and got me some chicken fencing and wired it up stayed like that for the whole 3 years haha!

You cannot get a deadblow behind it. Only about 1 1/2" space between fender and box. Even less closer to bedrail. Spotweld and shringking disk OR cut and replace panel. Other option would be swapping bed.
