Lmao! No, it's due to my stomping it around now as I have new found power in the truck. She runs too strong now not to use that power!

So after recent work, I calculated 13.5 now. But just thinking, since speedometer is reading 70, and trooper stops me for 77mph, I wonder how far off my mileage calculations are?

The gauge lies like a politician in that region of its travel. At 1/4 tank or so I might fill up with 20 gallons or 22. At nearly 1/8 on the gauge it'll be 23. If I'm on the interstate it's a hundred miles from top pin to dead on the F mark, then only 200 or so more to the warning light coming on.

Best bet it to go fill-up to fill-up, or record all miles driven and pump gallons in from one full fill to the next. Anything else and you might as well just pull numbers out of your own or someone else's ***. Not mine, though. There's no room for numbers in there with my head in it. Ones fit from time to time, but sevens and twos are painful in different ways and eights won't go in past the skinny part in the middle. Threes? They're a bloody mess. Fours won't go at all, nor will fives.

Yep. +10% on speed. Would mileage be +10%? Would it be linear? Would my 13.4mpg actually be 14.7?
