my last 2 measurements -

one tank was a nice steady 50-55 highway trip with very few start/stops and overdrive on. tires aired up to 60 psi. i had a big load of wood for half the trip and empty the other half. it got 16.0. i'm happy boy...

the other tank was around town, all stop and go: 12.7. not happy boy.

So I used the formula and came out with 13.5 mpg. Not to shabby with 3.55s, a lift, and 33s.

Can't wait to get my 4.10s, hopefully they'll help a little if I can keep my foot from smashing the skinny pedal

Haha sooo much truth to that...
Same trip, got 14.4 with my SC set on the 91, running 91. It was running 88(no ethanol) and the Mileage Tune the first time.

that's pretty much the make of it, no? grrrrr.....

I'm seeing around 14 average right now.. I just ordered up some new wheels and tires.. I'm dropping the 20" motometal 951 hoops with cepek fcii 35"x12.5" rubbers for 17" hoops and duragrapplers in 285/75/17's (34x11).. I hope to drastically decrease rolling resistance and lighten the rotational weight..

along with an alignment (badly needed), maybe, just maybe, I'll jump to 16mpg average..

I wanted to come back to point that out. HAHAHAHHAH Figured you'd be the one though. I imagine you've seen quite a few semi and their trailers attempting to go sailing? lol

by the way ppl....always drive downhill. cheapest mod ever to boost mpg.

I crossed Wyoming from Evanston to Cheyenne one fine November and tallied 14 rigs that had experienced unintentional rotation about the long axis resulting in reduced height of center of gravity and corresponding reduction of wind loading area. We heard several of them in their moments of anxiety on the CB, all of them speaking either of excrement or deity.
