Thinking of retiring the '97.
The 4th gen ram hemis pack a lot more power and now come with a 6 speed trans instead of the 5 . from what I read people who drove the 4 th gen compaired to there 3 rd gen was a huge diffremce with the new suspension in the rear and the power and the look of the interiors . Try test driving one and come back.

The HEMI I test drove was a '07 4x4 Laramie with 70,000 miles on it. For under $16,000. It would've been mine, but I chickened out during money talks. To sum it up, I'm stingy. I just can't justify $400+ per month on something that does nothing but depreciate in value. I can live with $300, just not much more than that.
go with a honda... I had a 90 accord with 233xxx used a quart of oil a day local mechanic told me to put 15 40 in it ran like a champ then i sold to buy my truck, my fiance has a 92 accord with 180 and she loves it
