On my 02 dodge ram 2500 when I hit a bump there is a knock in the front of the truck its not loud but you can hear it but the weird thing is if I hold the brake you can feel it more on the pedal, Tie rods maybe?

 

Maybe ball joints or tierods. Jack the front of the truck up and grab the wheel and start shaking it. If you have play side to side then inspect tie rods and wheel bearings, if you have movement from top to bottom then inspect your balljoints.

 

Replaced the shocks lately?
